Tequila Anyone?

Today l had a bit of fun repainting the garage in the garden under the Walnut Tree. It's a bit of an ugly building really but there is no way of hiding it in any shape or form! We put a weatherboard side on it a few years ago with the pretend window and door to try and soften it up a bit. Today it got a new lick of paint and some architrave around the door and window and a few fun additions in readiness for Summer!
The end result was a bit Mexican somehow!!!
But we think we like it!
The door was originally green but it didn't look right so l painted it half red, added the half way strip of timber and l rather like the effect!
And the windows were left over fence palings which work a treat!
Lucky horseshoe on the door!
Closest l could find to a hanging candle type thing!!!
And the creepy old metal spiders web!
A bit different !
But we like it! (we think!)

Flower Power!

A boring post if you don't like flowers!! l don't have a massive abundance of them here but when you wander around the garden and really LOOK at what's out there it is just stunning.
Love -In -The -Mist.........ok...... promise l won't name them all...........mainly because l don't know the names of half of them!
But l DO love this......My very first cornflower. So beautiful...
And this is amazing....look at the rain drops still on the petals!
Stunning  rose....
So ok, for those of you that are still awake and haven't died of boredom........this isn't a flower (obviously) it's a beautiful nest l found in the Snow Ball Tree. Made with with hair, manes and tails from Maxie and Insky! How absolutely gorgeous is this!??
Such incredible colours....
Love the Clematis!
Isn't nature amazing!
Slightly out of focus but couldn't resist it due to being photo bombed by a honey bee!
Every colour under the Sun!
All beautiful, all gorgeous, all stunning............!

Big Fat Blue!

The cows are huge with the Spring grass! Fat shiny and enormous! It's generally difficult taking photos of any black animal. They always seem to be in shadow and their feature never are very defined..................Unless you have a cow named Blue.
Then you can get as close up as you like.............
And get amazingly detailed photos of  slobbery grassy mouths.............and teeth!
Wet shiny noses........
Foreheads...............(and wrinkles Blue!!!!)
Big slightly mischievous eyes............
And ENORMOUS  fat slappable bottoms!!!!
((((And filthy looks!!!)))))
Got to love Blue!

The Russian Garden

Geoff's Vegie patch is slowly developing. It's been bloody hard work  (for Geoff!) as every square inch of this ground is covered in tiny, medium, largish and massive rocks! Every bed has been painstakingly dug out with huge piles of them lining up on the sides of the new beds.! Not fun!
But persistence pays off and this little patch is now capable of producing huge amounts of delicious fruits and vegies!
And foxgloves........got to have foxgloves.....
Lots of lettuce with Summer just around the corner...
And these??? Ok so l don't know what they are! Onions? Garlic? MASSIVE chives??
These are little baby green things that have just popped up in the greenhouse! (As you can see, l know my fruit and veg!!!)
Ah this l know! These are Nasturtiums!
Excess black currents...l think!
A future Hawthorn hedge in the making!
And baby Walnut Trees galore waiting to head off to the next local Produce Market.
Grapes on the go..........
And Geoff on the go too!
With a view to die for..........
It's becoming a rather lovely little place....
Easy to see why he loves being here......
