Sleepy goats and Geraniums!

Taken through the loo window early this morning! Two pals cosied up together on their favourite seat.

And poor little Tinks!! Relegated to the damp grass!!!

My herb garden has gone crazy. And in typical fashion, the things l WANTED to grow (like the Basil and my special above ground water cress) failed miserably and the things l wasn't too fussed on (like the Nasturtiums and the Celeriac) have taken over and squished everything out of the way!

Terribly pretty though! l must say l have never seen such an amazing array of different coloured Nasturtiums before. Whatever happened to good old orange?

 Just gorgeous!

Bicheno

Last weekend was a quick trip to the north of the State to a fishing/holiday town called Bicheno. l went up to stay with my brother who  had rented a beach shack up there.. He is down from Sydney with his beautiful family for a holiday. We went in two cars as l had to come back earlier to go to work. Guess who got the kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few sightseeing stops along the way. This is the Spikey  Bridge built on the original old road by Convicts.

The place was perfect. Just as you would hope an old beach shack would be!

With all mod cons of course! 

And a perfect place to enjoy the view under the shade of this huge old tree.

 Plenty of time for sea gazing!

And building in the sand!

We went seal watching!!

And generally relaxed and had a wonderful time in a beautiful peaceful place.

 

Lots of Flowers

The Vegie Garden has more flowers in it at the moment than vegetables!! Very pretty though regardless!

Happy New Year!

And so begins a new one! Geoff and l decided to go camping for our New Year's Party...with dogs of course....

In our back paddock ....where else !!

Off we headed just before sundown.....

Toggles was hilarious!!! She has always been a bit of a car buff ever since she was a tiny thing. Always hopping in the cars whenever she got the opportunity. l walked to our camping spot and opened all the gates so of course the goats came too. Tinks and Lizzie stayed with me but Toggles took off after Geoff (who was going the least bumpy route) Crazy goat!

Once we left the goats behind we then had the big horse to contend with. He must have thought the ute was bringing him food. He stood there and preceded to try and lift everything out!

So much so we had to shift him out of the paddock into the next one!

We quickly set up camp....

Very cosy it was too!!!

Although Lillie did wonder why we were 'so near and yet so far' away from her pink fluffy blanket in the house.!!!

She soon settled down into her new temporay bed though!

Treek slept in the car. She wouldn't come out as she is scared of the evil pony!!!

 It was a beautiful evening with a nearly full moon and a serenade!!!

And candles...........of course! 

After a pretty good nights sleep we welcomed in the first day of 2015 with piping hot coffee.....

And bacon, eggs orange juice and toast. Delicious!

Then time for a relax and a read. It was just lovely.

No one was in a hurry to go anywhere!

THEN.............the silly stuff started!!! We decided to move a few rocks.! As you do!

This one was huge! And heavy. You can't get an idea how big it was by the photo!

But we figured if they made Stonehenge with no excavators then we could and would move one rock!!

With a few hiccups in-between!!

But move it we did! (((((((Note: Large 'heavy object moving beastie' doing nothing in the background.............))))

And  we sat on it!!!!

Then it was off back home!

Thank goodness says the dogs!!! Happy New Year everyone!
