Resting

When horses  are out in the paddock with each other they often will get together and have a mutual grooming session. Sort of like a 'you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" The wither is the most common spot and they will stand as these photos show and give each other a lovely itch on a part of them that's probably quite hard to reach!

This is what you get when you have two slightly different sized horses/ponies trying to do the same thing! Eclipse had his huge teeth virtually lifting Max off the ground and little Max could only just reach Eclipse's neck! l have a horrible feeling that Eclipse is going to lose a large handful of his lovely long mane on that side as Max could only just reach it and was pulling it out in chunks!!!!
