Escapees and Garden Stuff

Woke up this morning to find all the ducks and geese in the garden! No idea how! Well l DO know.............the gate was wide open and the front gate as well!. A midnight visitor? We have no idea but it was most strange. Anyway l am sure they all had a wonderful time picking snails and slugs off the plants!

l went to work and bought this massively reduced Garden Arch which was a bit of a bargain. Not quite sure what l want to do with it or where to put it but l grabbed it  all the same! Seemed too good to not buy at the price!

Also ' re took' possession of my old push bike that l gave to the Garden Department at work a few years ago. They used to paint it different colours and use it for displays. New management and work changes worried me that it might end up in the skip bin so l reclaimed it today and brought it home! l just need to get rid of the purple colour now!

Geoff had a busy day and hung all the garlic and onions up to dry out as well as the Walnuts ready for pickling

 Then he chopped up some of the old Bridge timbers for garden beds......

Had time to give Poppy a scratch on the back which she loved!!!

And go down to the River to pump up some water for the troughs. Here is the old pump shed, now filled with a beautiful old fern! All in all a good Sunday!
