Wood and the New Kid!

Our new little girl is settling in beautifully! She really is the best of both worlds! Wonderfully tame and 100% comfortable and happy around people,but also LOVES her two new sisters and spends the day wandering around the paddock with them. They do get a little rough but she's agile and lively and thinks its all good fun to jump and leap out of the way!! She is a gorgeous little thing. The difference between her and Toggles at the same age is amazing! She is so calm and laid back. Toggles really WAS a full on kid!!!!

This afternoon we chopped split and carted a bit more wood. l didn't only just take photos!! l carted and split some too..... honest!!!! Its hard work getting wood this way but sooooooooooooo much cheaper then having it delivered already split.. Geoff's chainsaw is working a treat (thank goodness l never threw it away!) and cut though some fairly big logs like they were butter!

After stacking not quite half of it there was time for a kip in the wheelbarrow!! A good bit of hard work to end a very lovely long weekend

Oh and that mare did it again!!!! 19 wins ...19 races. Amazing! Sadly though she is destined for 'greater things' and is heading to Royal Ascot in England and Dubai for some of their great races. Will she hold her own overseas? Possibly a shame to attempt to find out but will shall see....
