November 2017

Well , it looks like absolutely nothing happened in November except I took lots of photos of flowers! LOTS! So this entry can be nothing except the same as there is not much else to show!!!

Spring last year was flower heaven for me! All my plantings  started to take off....

Very very exciting!

The flowerbeds started to fill up..

And the Clematis was beautiful.

Poppies popped up everywhere!

 

Foxgloves and Delphiniums...

This is ALMOST a weed in my garden now......not quite....almost!!!

Lupins...

And a few oddities..................!!!!???

Including a thistle AS TALL AS ME.........!!!

How on EARTH did l miss THAT????

My muddy construction site pond garden exploded into life

And as everything else came into flower....The Pom Pom Tree let go of hers....

And the front garden becomes a Winter Wonderland of snow white....

Unlike the hail storm we had in November.....The heaviest hail storm l have ever been in! It was absolutely unbelievable!

Ouch!

The Wisteria was stripped of half its leaves...

And ice everywhere!

But it all soon recovered and after a short time we forgot it had even happened.......l'm just very glad they are a rarity here in Tasmania! And Toggles is forever grateful that she was in her shed when it happened!!!

And a touching reunion between mother and daughter.

Louise (on the left) is about 9 and her daughter Little Girl is 7.

Louise had been away up at Mum and Dad's paddock for a few months... On her return , Little Girl recognised her straight away. They have always been very close. Lovely to see. Never underestimate the intelligence of a sheep.....

Geese intelligence on the other hand??? ........l'm not so sure..............

Oh November....you are just divine......
