Smoke and Wagons!

Today  was a beautiful day. Warm, sunny and blue skies . Possibly one of the last of the year ? l had a very special delivery too!!! By Geoff himself l might add!!!

The delivery was a gorgeous cart we bought last week.. It has been sitting down in Dover for a while as we pondered a way of getting it up to our place. Our work agreed to let Geoff pick it up himself which is what he did today!

A few unties of ropes and chains and within minutes it was airborne...........

Then on the ground....Thank you Geoff!

Shafts as well!

A great little bargain at $300. Perfect condition and only needing a coat or two of paint. We have in fact bought two.................the other one is yet to arrive. $300 as well so a bargain too good to pass up. The idea was to buy them both , spruce one up and sell it. We are now tending towards keeping them both!!! More on our plans for them another time.....!!!!

The stunningly warm May day was somewhat ruined late afternoon by a very nearby Forestry Burn Off. It wasn't long before we were shrouded in smoke giving the evening a very eerie surreal feel. Thanks Forestry!

These photo was taken by Dad who was even closer to it then we were. Not quite sure what  the helicopter was doing. He hung around for several hours .
