A new visitor this week to our bird food table. Much bigger than the Silver Eyes and the Sparrows. He only stayed for 10 minutes or so, had a feed and off he went. Much bigger but very polite and all the smaller birds were quite happy to share a meal with him!
Saturday was a grey rainy day. In between showers Geoff got the chainsaw out and we sorted out the old bridge timbers that have been sitting in the driveway for...............quite a long time!!!
Just a few more to move and it will look like they were never there!
Poor old Max watched us from afar. Much better now but still on rations.
We have had him in the driveway these last few days and he is
bored, misses pestering his big mate and is not very happy....
And another
current job............lining the little room off the barn. It's mainly
filled with harness and horse gear. Up until now it has just been lined
with foil wrap so we have nailed a few sheets of MDF on some of the walls to tidy it up a bit.
Just needs a lick of paint and the other walls done and it will look very smart indeed!
