Winter Colour

Mid Winter. The new month has brought more wintry weather, cold cold mornings and mainly remaining very chilly all day!!! l seem to recall last year was quite mild...........This one isn't!!

Not SO cold that l don't have to mow though!!! The grass is still growing regardless of the temperature. The Daffodils are shooting out of the ground so last weekend l hoisted the lawn mower out of the shed, dusted off the cobwebs  and filled it with fuel. l gave the whole garden a quick mow so the Daffs wont get lost amongst it all.

l love seeing them popping out everywhere!

l am also quite pleased about this little addition to the garden. A Hellebores that has finally flowered!! These were given to us by friends of ours a few years ago. They are planted in the deepest darkest spot under the Walnut Tree were the Sun NEVER shines!! This year, true to their word as genuine shade loving plants, they have flowered!!! Very happy!

And the Snow Drops are going crazy! Big clumps shooting up everywhere. Always good to see as it means one thing.........

Spring IS on its way!!!...........
