February

February. The worst month of the year l reckon. The most nervous for bushfires, the harshest for the garden (and us humans!) and the busiest for bugs, snakes and mosquitoes! Yuk! Thank goodness it's the last month of Summer! A good month for potting up little baby plants that pop up in unwanted place though!
This lot was dug out of paths, pavers and self seeders in areas l didn't really want self seeded!
Meanwhile THIS little pair....................
Are too cute for words
No one can give you the eye like this little girl can!
No one can simply 'look ' at you like THIS little fellow can.........
And NOBODY can steal a coat/hat like Maxie can!!!
Nobody!
The flowers kept on coming.........roses
Agapanthus...
And the Dahlias!
Two little boys found the joys of human contact...... Little Tyrone...........
And Larry...............
Larry was the breach lamb I pulled out on my own (with Dad still in transit) two years ago....
He has turned into the biggest softest sookiest sheep.....
This was his very first pat ever. He now LOVES it...............
As does Tyrone...................
We decided to timber panel the hallway............quick job, no problems............
Ha ha! Crooked walls, broken tiles, architrave glued to the walls, broken walls.....the list went on.......
Still not finished! l think the enthusiasm dwindled!!! We WILL finish it......just not in February!!!!
But l finished this! A lovely big water pot.....
And within days, he arrived!
l DID put a few fish in there but they jumped out which was rather sad!!!!
So l think I will just leave it for the frogs!
Love the view out of the kitchen window this time of year!
And the back!
AND the veranda from our neeeew doors! Still love them!!!
We feel like we are living in a resort!
And the best part of February 2018 was catching up with this gorgeous girl. Hilary, a friend from way back. l don't think we had seen each other for about 17 years. With a husband and little baby girl in tow it was very special indeed.
