A while ago Geoff and l got hold of an old trailer and cattle crate which have been sitting in the yard (where the crane deposited them many months ago!) ever since. Saturday afternoon we finally got around to shifting them! First to go was the trailer. Weighs a tonne!
We chained it up behind the ute and it towed quite nicely considering it had no brakes and was just swinging off the tow bar.!
It's now taken up residence in what is soon to be the goats new play pen! So at the moment it looks sort of 'plonked' in the middle of the paddock. But there IS a plan!
Second to go was the crate.
We took all the mesh off as it's quite useful and not necessary in its next new stage in life. Geoff started to angle grind them off (which Clips found quite interesting ) but we soon resorted to bolt cutters which worked better but was much harder!Maxy DIDN'T find it interesting, didn't like the noise and huddled up next to his big mate for reassurance!
We then hoisted it up on the ute and it was taken to ANOTHER corner to be resurrected as a new chook pen!
Wow! An empty yard! We wont know ourselves! Now l can finish the picket fence!
