Gift Day!

Thursday turned out to be a special one for us. For some reason we were inundated with gifts from friends and family all on the one day!. First was these lovely (candlesticks??) from Israel given to us by my Dad who has just returned from a short holiday there. They are hand painted and just gorgeous! Thanks Dad! Love them.
The second gift of the day was this hand knitted dog coat made by our lovely friends Ron and Yvonne whose wedding we went to a few weeks ago. Lilli however wasn't too forthcoming with showing it off and (much to our huge amusement)...... refused to have her photo taken wearing it and huffily turned her back to me when l tried.
Forced to pose............NOT happy!
They also gave us a CD. A compilation of some of their favourite opera and music from their extensive music collection which we enjoyed on their wedding day. Thank you Ron, Yvonne and little Hanno xx
Ok.......so yes..........this possibly looks like a not too pleasant 'sample' but gift number four of the day was from a customer at work. Following a conversation l had had with her  a few weeks ago about home made liqueurs. This is called Lemoncello and is soaked lemon skins, syrup and vodka!! It was very sweet of her to remember and to make the effort to bring some in for me.......even though it DOES look like a urine sample!!!
Last gift of the day was some delicious fudge made on Bruny Island.
Geoff travels over there once a week and delivered some building supplies to the chocolate /fudge makers. They gave him this little gift as a thank you.  Thank  YOU  Bruny Chocolate and Fudge Factory!!!
And just a random shot of the last rays of sun shining though our kitchen! Just lovely!!!
