More fences

Last weekend Geoff and l started and ALMOST finished a task in one day!! (Well two really l suppose). The project was the continued picket fence in the garden. Friday l pulled down the sheep netting.

 Dug the holes and concreted them into the bright  orange earth!

THIS time (after lessons learnt!) l pre painted everything first......two coats...........brilliant! Well done me! No fiddling with a paint brush around edges,sides, under rails, plants, dirt... etc.... Yuk!

 The next day the rails went up....

And finally the pickets! All done! No painting required except a few blobs where the screws go.

Love it.

Oh yes.... we do have to put the gate in...l like the bedhead idea but Geoff thinks a picket gate would look better...yet to be decided!
