Horse Shelter Spruce Up

Yesterday, armed with a ladder, paint and brush, l headed off to the horse shelter to give it a coat of paint. The opportunity came up at work last week to get some at a good price so l grabbed it. It's always just been the tatty old zincalume so was crying out for something to make it look a bit smarter. It took a few hours but a great result once it was all done. l was very happy with myself and toddled off back to the house for my lunch.
l peered out from the barn to admire my handiwork once again .....that's when l noticed how awful the roof looked!!  A shining silver and blue beacon of reflected light!! The roof is a bit of a mish mash of different coloured sheets which became very apparent once the sides were done! We did always intend to paint the roof as well but it looked so much worse now!
So off l went again after lunch and gingerly climbed up on the roof (l hate heights!!)  and got it done.
It looks so much better now! Well done me!
