The Flying Dunny!

This weekend we moved the dunny to its final resting place. It was in fact only a hop, skip and a jump over the fence but as there were grape vines in the way AND the fact that it was considerably heavy ....made us have to call in the big guns to get the job done!
Geoff went into work in the morning and returned with Fugly, his work truck with a crane big enough on the back to lift an elephant let alone a loo!!!
With lots of chains, slings, chocks of wood and skilful manoeuvring (on Geoff's part!) the dunny soon got wrapped up ready to fly.
A lot of creaking and groaning as it lifted up off the ground!
And up it went.....Loo intact!!!
Over the fence............
And down the other side, magnificently wedged between the grapes and the wire!
Geoff then moved the truck closer to the fence and up it went again!

Over the grape vines...........
And plopped (excuse me there...couldn't resist!) EXACTLY where we wanted it!
So with not so much as a piece of toilet paper out of place (yes, there was some still in there!!)........ off came all the hooks and chains.............
It nestled in nicely. Just waiting now for fences, gates and grape vines to surround it!
Door off....loo and hand basin out. Walls scrubbed within an inch of their lives with Eucalyptus Oil and Sugar Soap. Paint job to come....
l thought of propping the loo up in a corner somewhere and grow Nasturtiums out of it but l think my Mum might have a heart attack if l did!!!
Well done Geoff!

And Fugly!
