Shortest day just gone! Hooray! Now the days can start to get longer and we can look forward to BEING on the outside and not looking at it from behind a window!
THIS little dog hardly goes outside at all this time of year. Closer to the fire the better for her!
Right now is lots of darkness, headlight torches, wet gloves, beanies and soggy clothes! AND the never ending stream of dirty doggy towels! Today out of desperation, l strung a few lengths of good old baling twine along the veranda to dry the dog blankets and towels out.
And our usual Chinese Laundry impersonation in the sitting room. We just have to make sure we warn anyone staying with us that the apparitions floating around the living room ceiling are our drying clothes and not ghosts flitting about to scare us!
Geoff's trousers.................Not a fun thing to bump into on a midnight jaunt to the toilet!
