History of .....

The very lovely lady who bred Eclipse kindly posted me a CD with all the photos she had of him from whoa  to go which was rather wonderful of her! Here he is as a baby with his Mum. She looks decidedly like a Clydesdale as opposed to a Shire but l think that's quite probable as the breed is so rare over here they allow what they call 'breeding up' which means he is allowed to be registered as a Shire as l think his dam is possibly 3/4 Shire or half Shire, part Clydesdale and his sire was full blood. Slightly confusing but something like that!

You can see why he was named Total  Eclipse when you see the big circle on his forehead!
A gangly long legged youngster!
Lots of gangly long legged youngsters!
Starting to learn!
The indignity of it all!!!
Getting solid and hairy!
His first Show as a two year old. Reassuring to see how big his bottom CAN become!
And Debbie said "don't ever let him fool you that he doesn't like water!!!"
A lovely record to have!
