l have (rather insanely really) decided to expand the garden. Not that it's massive or tiny , l just would like some more .Which is where the insane bit comes in... More to mow, more to weed.....
So l pulled out the side picket fence....
And shifted it out into the middle of the orchard
The Cherry Tree off the veranda will be duck and goose poo free and enclosed by fence all the way round!
All gone!
Not that l have actually DONE it yet! It was all sort of propped up with bits of wood to give me and idea what it will look like. The ducks and geese will be on the other side of the fence only, as well as the huge amount of time they now spend in their pond in the front paddock. Hopefully they won't miss sitting at the bottom of the veranda steps!
More gates needed!
And more pickets than what l have currently have......which means....more painting! ( sigh!) l think it will look lovely though when it's all done...even though it means l do have a lot more lawn to mow!
But there will be room for Lavender, Pentstemons and lots of other beautiful plants!
Can't wait!
