Walnut Success!

The Walnut Tree always buds later then all the other trees around here. So it's still an enormous beautiful skeletal monster silhouetted against the sky. It is always hard to imagine when it is bare what it looks like when its fully adorned with leaves!! Not long to go now! And the lovely Margie and Laurie from Willow Bend Vegie Produce Extraordinaire had great success with our Walnuts. They sold 27 bags out of the 28 we gave them! Amazing! AND all the leeks! A great result and we have  a week now to bag up 28 more!
