Done!

Finished today! Post and rails painted, chicken wire stapled on and gate hung.

And posts lopped off!

It has a bit of a big step down  from one side to the other which is a pity but although it might not look like it ,there is quite a big height difference between the left hand side of the road and the right! The side next to the Apple Shed is exactly where the old loading bay for the apples once was. Hence all the rocks and boulders in the ground to prevent the big apple trucks ever getting bogged in the wet ground. So the option of digging OUT all of that to make the rails either side even was NEVER going to happen! So we will live with the slight difference and keep our poor old backs intact!!!

ONE day we will join up the post and rail from this gateway to the picket fence around the house.......one day!!

But for now we can have sheep in the driveway without them sneaking into the garden and the hay barn whenever the gates get left open! AND l can plant a few trees out there without the bloody wallabies eating them all!

More grass to mow though!!!!!!!
