Sewing Day??

These past few days l finally took some of my mother's advice  and instead of working out in the garden l sat on our veranda and did nothing but embroidery all day..............Given that there are at the moment about 16 hours of available daylight per day, you can imagine my needlework would have ended up pretty spectacular after all that valuable working time spent doing it!!!!! Here are few photos of what l achieved in the past two days...........
l think you can possibly tell by now that l did not indeed manage to churn out a full replica of the Bayeux Tapestry (but only because tapestry really is NOT my thing!!).Sorry Ma!!!......... but I DID build another brick path ..............and started to paint all the rails of our latest fence! They might not look like a lot but there were!!! 16 rails at 6 metres long!
Almost done!
Finished! That was back breaking work!! Ready to go up on the posts tomorrow !
And my new little weaving brick path. Less lawn to mow! Always a goal of mine! Made up of broken red bricks , and still a bit bumpy as the dirt hasn't settled in between the cracks yet.
Love it!
Definitely better than embroidery Mum!!
