Doing Nothing!

Did pretty much sweet nothing today! After all the rain last night everything was fresh and green this morning. The sun shone and the wind picked up and the remaining slightly damp hay from yesterdays showers dried beautifully in the shed.We wandered around the garden for a bit, chasing escapee ducks and keeping a wary eye out for the Tiger snake that Lilli encountered on the lawn this afternoon. (off to Kingston tomorrow to buy some Snake Repellers!)

 

Its such a relief having the front paddock clean and mowed. l must say l don't really like having such a fire hazard so close to the house!!

We then ambled down to the front gate to close it and peered into the waters to try catch a glimpse of our Platypus but not today. A bit early l think.

 Did capture Lilli in a rather ethereal moment crossing the rivulet though!!

Checked out all the animals who all seemed quite content and all very happy to pose beautifully for the camera

 EXCEPT TOGGLES!!!

And Poppy who l think has decided after two years living as a paddock cow would quite like to now become a house cow and the first step to becoming one is to move into the goat shed permanently!!

Signs of rain on the horizon so we headed back to the house. Nice to not have to do anything every now and then!
