Well and truly into the New Year!

A fairly busy hectic start to 2016!
The puppies left to go home which was sad and the place is very quiet without them. They were ecstatically happy to see their Dad when he came to pick them up which was lovely to see. Apparently they totally crashed out when they got home!
This farm life must have been pretty tiring for them!
New Years Day we decided to go camping over at Camp Candlestick. The weather was cool enough to be able to light a fire but warm enough to be pleasant outside. So off we headed across the paddock .......with Lilli.....as happy as ever to be roughing it...........
Treeka who never moved out of the ute unless we picked her up and physically removed her from it!!
And this time the cat came too! She was probably the most annoying camper as she left for long periods of time then would return dribbling, drooling and purring at all hours of the night!
She seemed quite happy though and spent most of the time curled up asleep in the grass.
Actually now l think of it maybe THIS fellow was the MOST annoying.... As usual he thinks the arrival of the ute means food and he was determined to find it. He pulls things off, knocks things over, takes tea towels out of baskets...licks dirty plates!! These happened to be our dinner plates and trust me he soon found out he DOESNT like Chicken Curry!!!
 Not at all!!!
Serves you right Goofy Drawers!!!
Ah... maybe THIS was the most annoying camper? Although luckily they didn't stay the night, just visited whilst we set up camp! How this big fat thing even gets UP onto the back of the ute is one of life's mysteries!
And for once, in his whole irritating little life, this wee fellow was as good as gold parked in his yard watching all the comings and goings! Where's his halo??
So with fast fading light we set up camp. Lit the fire....
And aired all the bedding which was still in the wagon. Within minutes we had the true Diddacoy theme happening here!
So as l said earlier. A delicious curry for dinner
While watching flame throwing dragons in the fire!
Then bacon, eggs and toast for breakfast.
What a good life!!! Happy New Year!
