May Days!

Well one third of our way into Autumn. It's been incredibly mild. No frosts yet and so much Sun the grass is still madly growing. So l am still madly mowing!
Some superbly interesting clouds are still hovering over our horizon. This one looks like a UFO about to land!
Geoff and l splashed out the other day and went into our nearest 'big' town and bought ourselves a television!! We do have one but l melted the remote control on top of the fire last year and it's been impossible to use ever since! This is only a teeny telly by todays standards and until we get the TV man in to fix up our aerial , it wont be getting much use until we can watch ABC or SBS! The commercial channels are just hideous!!  We lasted one hour before we turned it off in disgust!!
l also took the opportunity to pop into a newsagency (we don't have any in our town!) and buy a gorgeous English gardening  magazine that l MUST subscribe to!
Our new diary for next year starting in July (we live by the financial year for some reason in this household!) and a book from the nearby second hand shop! A good day in all !
Time just on dusk for a quick wander around the garden..........
And some gorgeous Japanese Anemone buds!
They look like they are alive somehow and about to swim away!
