Blackbird

Right outside our kitchen window we have a very small tree. It's quite exposed to the elements. Not a lot of shade or protection from sun or rain. This year we have a blackbird in there who has painstakingly made her nest over the last few weeks. She is not very happy about it as every time we appear at the window off she flies in fright! Quite WHY she chose there is beyond me!!! Each time we open the window (which is most days) she flaps off in a a panic and sits on the fence for 10 minutes then back she comes. It will be interesting to see what happens when the babies hatch!
