Bedhead!!!

We have never had a headboard on our bed since we have been here. Mainly because the last one we had was solid wood. Didn't seem such a good idea when the bed butts up against a window in this house.
Our search for one ended last week when l spotted these in our local antique shop in town. They were advertised as garden ornaments only as they are a bit tatty, rusty and far from perfect!!! When would that ever stop me!!!????

Aren't they just gorgeous!! We are only using the bed end as the bed head as the bedhead itself is about 6  foot high! A bit imposing over our heads we decided!! So the big bit is in the garage at the moment. No doubt l will find somewhere fun to use it.............!
