Girls Girls Girls!

The farm this morning, nestled into its misty hollow!!
Fingal was next in the baby line with a little one born early up on a very bleak, wet, cold hillside! Another girl which is amazing. That's 5 girl lambs plus one female calf! Very good going so far!
A few hours old. All the yellow washed off in the rain and up and about in the brief spell of sunshine we had. Warm and snug in the barn shelter tonight though!!
This afternoon l went to visit a couple of friends who own a Clydesdale Stud not too far from here. A visit that was well over due so it was good to finally get over there and see their horses.
This mare had possibly the biggest head l have ever seen!!!
This was one of the few geldings on the place. Riley. He has spent the last 5 years as a Carlton United Brewery Horse in Melbourne and has led the team through parades and displays all around Australia. Now back in Tasmania for a well earned retirement.
Lovely huge gentle things.
And this is Timmy...........................have a look at that mane and forelock! Have you ever seen anything quite so incredible!!!! He is their stallion and the quietest most kind natured giant you could ever meet.
A very enjoyable few hours spent
