Poo and Imposters!

For quite some time now we have noticed some goats up on the far hills behind our place. They seem to travel about a bit then disappear for a while.  We are not sure if they are feral or not as there isn't a house over that way that we know of. Yesterday l noticed they had made their way right down to our boundary fence and were chomping on the Blackwood trees in the paddock! (From their side of the fence though luckily!!) Our three goats weren't  remotely interested and didn't even bother to head over there to say hello. No idea if they are males or females and l don't really want to go over to check them out in case they decide our place looks wonderful and follow me home!!! We shall moniter them...............................!!!
Our horse poo bags are selling very well! We have averaged just over $60 a week so far! Some people to come to the house to pick it up if the sign is out when we are home but most of it goes from the little pile of it we leave at the bottom of our road each morning!. We leave a jar there for the money and between 5 or 8 bags there a day and without fail this week the bags are gone by 5pm and the money is in the jar! It's great as it will cover the cost of feeding all the beasties every week and have some left over to put aside for the hay next year!
The wattles on the hillside are looking glorious now. Combined with the Crack Willow buds turning the tips of the trees red it's quite a stunning combination to look out on every morning! Spring.......... l can almost see you..............................
