New Neighbours!

Today when we got home from work we noticed some new residents in the paddock adjacent to ours  ! We wandered over and said hello and got a wonderful inquisitive greeting from them all! Seven in total and a variety of colours and ages. They all had the wind up their tails being a cold blustery day and obviously not having been in there very long. It was a bit of a worry just HOW far they hung over the fence so we have decided not to make the effort to become really good friends with them in case they decide to step over the fence into our hay paddock and follow us home! Some were wearing big loose sagging head collars which looked as old as the Ark. l wonder how many will still be wearing them in a weeks time!
It was a typical Tassie Spring day today even more so after yesterdays scorcher.Warm this morning then pouring rain in the afternoon. Mum and Dad came over for scones and jam (very nice!) and after they left the mist came down the hills around us in great swathes and for the risk of sounding repetitive........it was quite beautiful!!!
