Kids!

Meet the newest members of our family!!!!! Two female 2 week old goats! Aren't they just adorable! l picked them up this morning and travelled back with them both bleating madly on the backseat. One has the little toggles hanging off her chin and floppy ears and the other one as you can see has enormous ears that will point upwards and is white and speckled brown on her back.

They are very people orientated and absolute characters both of them, Martin came to visit and was totally won over! They are very interactive and follow us around  like puppies. HUGE time wasters!!!

They came for a walk with us and the dogs.

And hung out with us around the bonfire.

We tucked them up in their little goat shed for the night and how l would have killed for a camera when l went back to check on them half an hour later. There they were both crammed into one of the nesting boxes side by side with their little heads poking out! Just gorgeous!

And the day ended on a humorous note when we discovered one of our sheep (La la) had climbed up the loading ramp to check it out. Got to the top, couldn't jump off and couldn't turn round! So she just stood there and waited for us to turn up and carefully back her out! l wonder how long she would have stayed there! A lesson learnt though and we have now gated the bottom of it so it can't happen again!
