Ughh!!

Today l can truly say my Dad was My Hero! Look what must have crept into the house!!!
l had lawns to mow, animals to feed, paths to weed, holes to dig and l could do nothing because this monster was in the sitting room and if l went outside and took my eye off it then who knows where it might have ended up! Geoff was no help as he was miles away he just told me to be brave! HA!!! Look at the size of it ! (taken with a massive zoom lens by the way!) So he sat there for hours up on the ceiling watching me..............all morning in fact and so did l.......l sat there all morning watching him back!! Well l  vacuumed, tidied, dusted and did general boring inside stuff but always with one eye on him up there wedged in the cornice.
Mum had rung and l told her of my predicament (she said vacuum it up! Ughhhhh no!)Geoff said spray it ......noooooo....... it would be like spraying a mouse it was so big! Hasn't anyone HEARD of the term Arachnaphobia!!!!!??? Not long after l hung up from speaking to Mum, Dad rang asking if l wanted him to come over and dispose of it for me.Errrrrrr....YES!!!!!
So 10 minutes later around Dad came, roaring up the drive, cape swirling in the gathering storm clouds. He gathered Spids up and deposited him a safe distance away from the house. My total hero! Thanks Dad! Glad we only live 5 minutes apart now!!!! xxx
Ok so it might not look very big here because he was all sort of flat but he would have been a good 4 inches across maybe longer.
After that the heavens opened and it rained all afternoon! So l stayed inside and dusted and vacuumed and tidied and did more boring inside stuff that l had already done that morning!!!
Fun fun fun!!!!
Little Toggles is going ok. She has adapted really well to being alone and during the day sits alongside  the chook pen. If only l could tell her l have a pal teed up in the next week or so l would feel so much better , but she's quite content and doesn't bleat or cry anymore at all. When we take her for walks she focuses on the dogs and flies along with Treek or Lilli if they run off. She is a little monster but so very cute.
She has grown enormously and is beginning to enjoy browsing on a bit of Willow if we put it in her pen.
Not really into artistic photography but was quite intrigued by this picture that l took by mistake whilst hiding behind a bush trying to get a photo of Toggles without her seeing me. Of course my camera focused on the wire in front, not on her but l quite liked the result!
Then in my artistic moment l snapped a massive rainbow over the house. In  black and white it looked quite amazing. There's my David Bailey moment over folks!
