Sad

Today we lost one of our little goats. The white one which l think was both our favourites. Poor little thing. l really don't know what went wrong. She was fine last  night but this morning looked uncomfortable and a bit bloated and wouldn't eat.l don't understand as bloat is mainly caused by overeating and after our scare with the other one last week and speaking to vets and even the feed merchants who make the milk powder l was confident we were feeding the right amount. We drenched her with paraffin oil which was all the vet could recommend. At lunch time when l came home she was no better but no worse. When Geoff got back at 5pm she had died. Its quite devastating and we are a very sad household tonight. The little sandy one is understandably very lonely and stressed. With good things you always get bad and this is our worst for quite a long time
