An Excellent Cat

Today we said a very very sad goodbye to our beautiful amazing Possum cat. Only 8 years old but stricken with a large aggressive type of cancer throughout her kidneys and spreading rapidly through her body. Our only options were Palliative Care (two weeks max) or Chemotherapy (which isn't an option for an animal you can't explain these things to) We decided before the pain became too much to have her put to sleep which l did this morning. We have buried her up at the four gateways to our top paddock. Queen of the Savannah as Geoff used to call her. She used to love the wild large paddocks and often we would come across her curled up fast asleep in the long grass. She will be missed incredibly by us both and she was as Geoff said yesterday an Excellent Cat.
